"One Book Rightly Divided" by Douglas Stauffer is outstanding in every sense. The layout, print, diagrams and cover are impeccable. The book feels good, and is easy to read and handle. However, it is the contents and the text that lift "One Book Rightly Divided" into a class of its own - light-years ahead of any similar work.

This is the quintessential book on "right division" and dispensationalism. Every Pastor, preacher, minister and Bible College lecturer NEEDS this book. Sadly, much of the material in its pages will be unknown to those who are entrusted with "feeding the flock" and teaching the word. However, "One Book Rightly Divided" will ensure that ignorance or lack of understanding of "right division" are no longer excusable for the Christian, be he teacher, pupil or just an ordinary church member.

Dr. Stauffer gently and patiently takes the reader on a Bible "journey" that progressively builds an understanding of hitherto much-neglected Bible doctrine. At the end of the journey, the reader can only step back and say "What a wonderful God we have, what an awesome Bible He has preserved for us - and thank you Dr. Stauffer for taking me on such an exciting journey."

After finishing your book, I’m impressed with the work and glad that God used you to get it done. There is no telling what battles you must have fought to see its completion.

I am writing to let you know what a blessing your book, "One Book Rightly Divided" has been to me. It has helped me to realize how much I didn’t know! It has opened my eyes to things that should have always been evident. I recommend this book to be published and the truth spread through it. I am praying to that end!

I got a copy of your book today and it is most impressive. The staff here is drooling over it. It will probably be read widely in the Philippines if enough copies find their way here. I just heard about the Catholic man that was saved after reading your book – Anthony. Praise the Lord!
This is just more verification from the Lord that your book was especially needed for the Body of Christ not only as a teaching tool, but also as a witnessing tool. I’m convinced that there are still some "thinking" folk out there who have been trying to put the whole picture together (of the Bible) but just needed a little help. And that "help" is what your book has provided. I look for your book to be well accepted here among the Filipino brethren. Good job on the book. Keep on pressing.

One of my teachers was at a meeting two weeks ago and purchased one of your books. He quickly saw that this was something that our church needed. I went to the local book store and found none in stock. When I stopped in Decatur, Alabama last week, they had not heard of your book. When I talked with your secretary and ordered five books, I had no idea the response I would get this soon.

On Saturday the books I ordered arrived and I called the four men that I wanted to read them. They have already reported that this is the most interesting book on this subject that they have read. I find that it has been written in such a way that any person can readily be blessed by reading the material involved. Thank you for your work and I pray the Holy Spirit bless all believers who read and study this book the same way our men have been blessed thus far.

I thought that Doug's book was excellent. Perhaps the finest that I have read on the subject. My biggest concern, because of the subject matter, "rightly dividing," was that he might go off into "hyper" space. That was not the case and I was genuinely impressed with the flow of the teaching. I did give him my impression of a couple of areas that I thought he might have elaborated more extensively, however, those areas in no wise took away from a book well written.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone, student or teacher.

Earlier comments from Pastor Piette:
I finally finished reading the book. I did not race through the material, but carefully considered all that you put forth both from a student's point of view and a teacher's point of view.

My conclusion is that this book is one of finest works I have read on the subject. I am genuinely impressed. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who was seriously seeking an understanding of the Book.

The material is put forth in such a manner as to be regarded as a wonderful teaching tool for any Pastor. Have you thought of putting out the book in a loose-leaf binder?

I really loved the book and I am going to put it to the test right away by using your format to teach the men in the prisons. (We have two prison ministries, state & federal) There is a great need for this teaching in the prisons, since they are subjected to every wind of doctrine coming down the pike.
You have done an outstanding job. The other copy of the book that I purchased is being read by a preacher in learning and although he has not finished the book as yet, he says that it has helped him tremendously.

I will definitely have to obtain another copy of the book to include in our church library.

Unfortunately, we live in an age when the attitude of much of the Body of Christ appears to be . . . "if my favorite preacher does not (or, did not) teach it, well then, it just cannot be right!"

In this excellent work, Brother Stauffer’s intent is to simply educate the reader as to "What saith the word of the Lord?" I recommend that you read this volume carefully . . . prayerfully . . . and perhaps you may discover the joy of really believing every word of your King James Bible of 1611 – Rightly Divided! As God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding (I Kings 4:29), so has the author been granted wisdom and understanding to write a book that opens the word of God to anyone who wants to understand it.

This book meets a longstanding need for a thorough and thoughtful presentation of dispensational truth! It carefully introduces the principles of "right division" for the new student. It also effectively elaborates on this scriptural study system for those who already "rightly divide" their King James Bibles.
I pray it also will be used of God to "convince the gainsayers." Far too many preachers have mislead, confused, and hindered God's people by blurring the dispensations of God's dealings with mankind. For those who heed it, this book clears the fog by showing what "rightly dividing the word of truth" fully means. May God bless and use it for His glory!

Every serious Bible student should have a copy of One Book Rightly Divided. One cannot be a passive reader of this book; but must actively engage his body, mind, and soul into discerning and obeying the truth in its pages. -- F. Eller – School teacher

For one to comprehend fully the "simplicity that is in Christ," Paul's principles of "rightly dividing the word of truth" must be applied to his Bible studies. The principles of right division neither add to nor take away from the Bible. Rather, as the name states, this method of study simply divides the content of God's word so that we may understand the supposed contradictions within its pages.

Dr. Stauffer's book outlines the basic principles of this Bible study approach in such a way that even new converts are able to clearly understand its precepts. The author's apt use of supplementary charts clearly illustrates the different ages and their overall relationship to the central theme of Christ. When new converts hear the words of God and see the charts as they illustrate the truth, they are able to reach an accurate conclusion concerning the nature of God and His dealings with man. They are able to see clearly how God has worked in ages past; how He works today; and how He will work in the future. Therefore, the truths of the Bible become very real to them.

As a missionary here in China, I have used this book and its charts as invaluable tools for teaching new converts God's truth. Our plans are to translate Dr. Stauffer’s book into the Chinese language so that many others will be able to study and "be approved unto God."

Take this book and let it guide your thoughts in Paul's principles of studying to "shew thyself approved..." The simplicity that is in Christ will then become a tangible reality to you.

The God-ordained principles of study contained within the pages of this book are certain to transform the Bible study of the new convert and the seasoned Christian alike. No longer does the Christian need to evade the "difficult" portions of God's word; he simply needs to divide them as God has commanded.

Christians, young and old, search for the key to understanding God’s word. As a babe in Christ, I barely knew how I had been saved, much less how to lead someone else to Christ. The Bible was a mystery to me. For all practical purposes, it was a locked Book and I had no idea how to open it.

Six months after I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour, my family and I moved to Victory. Within months, both of my children accepted the Lord as Saviour under the ministry of this church. That same year (1995), Dr. Stauffer taught a series of lessons concerning the biblical principles of Right Division. From these classes, the primary lessons I learned were that the Bible is a self-interpreting book, and that Right Division is the key to unlocking its interpretation. All of the things in the Bible that had once appeared so contradictory and confusing began to fit into place. Nothing seemed so hard to understand when I expended the effort to study and utilized "the key" of Right Division provided by the Lord.
